One Piece had a weaker start than the other 2 for me, but since it kept getting so much better unlike the other 2 it is now on the top. I mostly follow Bleach to see it to the bitter end. Naruto is still fine, i can handle reading about Sasuke since he is needed. If you just killed him it would kinda screw up the story (dammit).

god the character development in naruto is terrible. Very few times has it actually been for good. Sasuke is pretty much gone 180 on us, and i can't vouche for anyone who actaully likes it. Sakura is gone from funny and driven to emo and aimless. and to round up team 7 naruto, do i need more than to remember the hideous chapter 476; he had a fit just thinking about sasuke, c'mon guys is that really cool???

you might argue that it is only natural for those characters to grow that way, but that is not so, character development isnt natural, it is the decision of the writer. So far in naruto it has provided for a jaded storyline with irritating characters.

Bleach has a much more exciting storyline at the moment, but Naruto is going back through history, so that's understandable.

Bleach is boring as hell. when it gets good we are left to a stand still most the time. we get 5 -7 good chapters out of the 30 or what ever we get a year.

naruto is good it had it's bad points, but overall very well balanced. OP I hated for sooooo long probably more then 5 years or more I wouldn't touch it or watch it or anything. I was hesitant for so long. I tried again and still didn't like it. I then tried again end of 2008 I think and forced myself through the first few arcs, but then it just got awesome. imo for me it was awesome with the p9 (i think thats what they were) arc.

Naruto art is always consistant. bleach art is consistant ONLY for characters. if it wasn't for the anime we wouldn't really have an idea of what the bleach world is like.

I won't lie bleach has nice characters and kubo is a good artist, but imo one piece is better. one piece is consistant all round even with drawing hundreds of people in the background. the backgrounds are always filled with detail. that goes with naruto too, but on a lesser scale.

Naruto's character development isn't the greatest. bleach has hardly any character development. one piece has plenty. I seem to know and understand naruto characters a lot better then bleach because who they are and what they are about has been shown more thoroughly.

Jiraiya is probably my favourite character out of all the manga though

I also think that Naruto is declining. Thats what happens when 20 chapters are dedicated to the past of a charecter. Then again Bleach is also pretty bad, focusing on Ichigo's friend, WHO CARES ABOUT HIS FRIENDS, we all saw Gins betrayl from a mile away and it's not showing one of the coolest fights eva(Ichigo vs Tensa Zangetsu fused with Hollow Ichigo.)
So really I don't know.

Naruto cause it's better than Bleach, which ain't really an accomplishment though.
Bleach, cause it ain't got no story anymore and consists of pure trolling after the SS arc.

I like all the shows but one Piece is BE(A)ST!
The way one piece develops character wise, story wise and even art wise is astounding. I can get goosebumps or laugh like crazy or even be somewhat sad, and neither bleach nor naruto does that for me.

Naruto is the best as it has good action scenes and he has characters that has good backgrounds which have good reasons for the actions they take.

One Piece is the best personally. It's the only of the three I still read and still enjoy. Bleach was good up until the part where they finished saving Rukia. After that it got too boring for me and I hooked off. I tried skipping the filler arcs and continue at like ep 100 but it still didn't hook me. Naruto was the worst of them and didn't really interest me at all. I watched like the first 10-20 eps but didn't like it.

tl;dr: One Piece >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bleach > Naruto.

you should keep going with naruto i didn't like the first 200 episodes of one piece but i got thru them and now i like it you gave up to soon

Yeah people do give up too fast. They need to learn to have patience with a manga >_<

Umm... Naruto never got any better, only worse.

So I would say if once you've fully entered the plot it is not appealing and you didn't have any prior bias before starting, it is safe to drop.
