I'm nobody important, but I'll share my two cents on the closing matter.

Mangastream is different than other sites, not just because of the much smaller # of mangas here, but also because of it's nature. It is not mangahosting, it is mangascanlating. No matter what happens, they can still continue scanlating, though sharing with the public might become an issue. You should also look at the fact that Mangastream doesn't host its manga indefinitely.

Well, I forgot some other things I was gonna write, but anyways, what I'm trying to get at is that ATM Mangastream is in a better position than pure Mangahosting sites

Well even if the site is closed, they can still get around it, depending how much they want to. Torrents could be a solution.

I just had a general question, the last issue of jump was a double issue but it was released on August 8th (Monday). I follow the site on twitter and was confused cause "no jump" was released this week due to the jump offices celebrating the Obon Festival, and that next week was the week no actual copies of jump would be released. I guess I don't quite understand since I have no idea what all it takes to get a final product (scanlation). So wouldn't this week be a double-issue (issue 36-37)?

Maybe someone else has already asked it before, but is there a list of the whole scanlations? I'd like to see Naruto Shippuden episode 497 but I can't find it...i could only find the last episodes...

Lol. Yes this question has been asked plenty times. Should read the FAQ, but I'll state it again. Mangastream only scanlates the recent chapters. They do not archive like how One Manga used to.

This is SuperKamiGuru9000 and i would just like to say im sorry that my post are big a problem with advertising and bring people to my blog/Videos. but i would really like to come to some compromise in this issue. what i have come up with is, what if when i post these video links if i can within the same post also ask question within my post. Like in this upcoming Manga 506 or 507 example "do you think that Guy will have to open all 8 gates?" or What final "Attack did you like the most? Giant Shark Missile or Afternoon Tiger" i would be very active in the discussion and gladly even keep the video discussion within the forums as well.

I thought I should mention that there is a missing page, it's the first page actually. I found by chance when I downloaded the raw which I don't do normally.

And this brings up a couple of questions thought,

1- what does it say in the missing page? there is no need to scanlate it... but that is up to you..
2- why the magazine cover says its Bleach Year? am I missing something?
3- there was a special note from Kubo Tite? Does anybody know what its about?

Yeah we missed that page, the JUMP cover was labeled 01 and what we thought was the start of the chapter was 02, but our raw provider uploaded the actual 01 later on after we'd already pulled the files down and started working on it.

Luckily, nothing of value was lost as the page isn't important in the slightest. I had Molokidan translate the flavor text on the side for you, it says "At the edge of consciousness lies..."

I didn't get the Tite Kubo special message translated because it looks like some garbage about the 10 year anniversary of Bleach, which is also the explanation for the "Bleach Year" stuff. Looks like they'll be celebrating that milestone a full year before it happens (August 2011).

hello, i'm wondering if you know a site called http://maria.chuing.co.kr/zboard/zboard.php?id=notice
it's a korean site and for one piece, bleach, naruto, KHR, bakuman and fairytail (those are the only ones i have checked) they are using your scans. i didn't notice at first but then i saw the watermark and knew it
here's an example: naruto

i thought that before confronting with them, i should contact with this site first and let you guys handle it they did steal the scanlations

personally, it would tick me off a lot if they were stealing scans cause i know how hard and annoying it is to get these scanlations done (and you guys have top quality). though the thing is, a lot of koreans are now using the site since many korean individual translators who used free RAWs and uploaded them on their blogs are being forced to shut down. it would be a real bummer for korean fans if they couldn't have the scans. so maybe you could include them in your international scanlations? certainly, yes, i know that it was wrong of them to steal but i guess it's up to you guys and all.

so i don't know how you want to solve this problem but i just wanted to let you guys know
(if you already didn't know that is).

There are literally hundreds of international "scanlators" who take our scans every week without permission.
We don't have the manpower to contact them all, nor would it have any effect if we asked them to take those scans down.

Feel encouraged to ask them to take them down though, if it works out: great.

First of All, Thanks for your Hard Work Guys! Your the best frikking manga-Fansub out there.

Second, scuse my poor english im writting you guys from the land of Tequila (México).

Third, i have a little observation to make in the KHR 304 chapter:

- You call Ryohei the Sky Gurdian, but Tsunayoshi (Decimo) its the Sky Gurdian, Ryohei its the Sun one (probably a mistake of the author, but im just giving you guys the heads up).

- You put Tsunayoshi calling Ryohei "My Brother". They are not real brothers, Tsuna just calls hime that way (probably because he likes Kyoyo and wants to be a Brother in Law... the little rascal! XD).
